José de Larrea y Tocón
Institutional discipline. Operator instinct.
José de Larrea y Tocón is a Spanish-American entrepreneur and principal based in Miami, operating across real estate, private capital, joint ventures, and complex strategic transactions.

José began his career in financial services and spent nearly a decade advising private clients in senior wealth-management roles with Citigroup and Wells Fargo. That experience established a foundation in investment analysis, client relationships, risk management, and the disciplined presentation of financial opportunities.
José subsequently moved into entrepreneurial and executive leadership across financial services, international commerce, payment solutions, and real estate. In 2020, he founded Orange PRO Solutions and assumed responsibility for its South Florida operations. The company now serves nearly 100 merchant clients representing more than $30 million in payment-processing volume.
As Founder and Principal of Meridian Transaction Group, he focuses on real estate, private capital, transaction structuring, and execution coordination. Since 2026 he has managed private investments, real estate opportunities, transaction structuring, and strategic initiatives for RWA, a Single Family Office.
He works in English and Spanish and maintains relationships across the United States, Spain, and Latin America.
Approach
Judgment before enthusiasm.
Every opportunity is assessed on structure, alignment, and downside before it is assessed on upside.
Define the downside first
Underwriting begins with what can go wrong, how it is absorbed, and who carries it.
Align the parties early
Sponsor, capital, and operator expectations are reconciled before documents are drafted.
Structure toward execution
Terms are designed to survive diligence, committee review, and closing conditions.
Beyond Business
A life between cultures, grounded in family and sport.
Outside of business, José is the father of three daughters and a lifelong athlete with a strong interest in tennis, padel, skiing, travel, architecture, culture, and international affairs. His Spanish-American background shapes a global perspective and a natural ability to operate across markets, cultures, and relationships.
The objective is straightforward: understand the opportunity, structure it correctly, protect the downside, and execute with discipline.
